Educator Workshops
PIE sponsors teacher workshops with nearly 300 educators attending in the last ten years. These free workshops are environmentally focused, meet state educational standards, and in many cases are eligible for Purdue University graduate credit.
Environmental Curricula
Cirricula on environmental issues for elementary, middle, and high school classes are available. Developed by a team consisting of Lilly employees and local educators, the curricula allows a teacher and the class to visit the WHRA, perform experiments and return to the classroom to analyze the data. PIE in the Classroom
Tippecanoe Laboratories provides area students with exposure to various careers while encouraging their development of math, science, verbal and written skills. Employees are available for career presentations in various scientific and technical areas.
