Partners In Education (PIE) was initiated in 1996 with Lilly Tippecanoe Laboratories and the four major school systems in Tippecanoe County.The program has grown to include all schools in the county who are accredited by the State of Indiana, as well as specific programs in surrounding counties. The Partners In Education program offers educational opportunities to teachers and children with a focus on science, technology, and math.Click here for highlights.

Educator Grants
Each year Lilly Tippecanoe Laboratories awards grants to local teachers in amounts up to $1,000. Grants focus on math, science and technology with special recognition to grants focusing on environmental initiatives. Click here for more about our PIE Grants.

Educator Workshops
PIE sponsors teacher workshops with nearly 300 educators attending in the last ten years. These free workshops are environmentally focused, meet state educational standards, and in many cases are eligible for Purdue University graduate credit.

Environmental Curricula
Cirricula on environmental issues for elementary, middle, and high school classes are available. Developed by a team consisting of Lilly employees and local educators, the curricula allows a teacher and the class to visit the WHRA, perform experiments and return to the classroom to analyze the data. PIE in the Classroom
Tippecanoe Laboratories provides area students with exposure to various careers while encouraging their development of math, science, verbal and written skills. Employees are available for career presentations in various scientific and technical areas.
